Wiggle Stub aka Maizey

My dog is afraid of the grass. Yes, afraid of the grass. The stuff dogs are supposed to roll in, eat, play in, sleep in....she is totally opposed to even walking in it. I feel like I have to practically pull her head off trying to yank her over the curb unto the grass so she can go to the bathroom. Weirdo. It's not like she is such a clean little thing that she can't get her feet dirty - no, not at all. And it's not like she doesn't like to get her feet wet either - we can walk for quite a while right down the middle of a flowing creek bed and she loves it. I have no idea what this opposition to grass is all about. Maybe it's because when it's tall it touches her belly...

And another thing. She doesn't like to eat out of her food bowl like a normal dog. She takes her paw, tips the dish on it's side, and proceeds to eat the bits of dog food that have spilled in a triangle formation onto the floor. What a stinker. I guess it tastes better separated from the rest of the food in her dish.

Oh, and the evil bunny rabbit (Tamar) can totally own Maizey. The rabbit made Maizey squeak earlier today. SQUEAK. Like one of those fake hamburger toys you go crazy squeaking in the store to annoy everybody. What. a. total. goober.

I love her though. She's mostly an awesome dog. Mostly.

Our pup, affectionately dubbed "Wiggle Stub" by my incredible husband due to her cropped tail which is a stub that wiggles when she "wags" what she thinks is her tail. Poor girl. ;)
